Forty-two poems written between Tehran and the island — on exile, womanhood, the cities that taught the body how to disappear, and the slow work of finding a voice again. This is not a book meant to comfort. It is a book meant to be entered.
Here, loneliness is not an emotion but a landscape.
Nasrina Rezaei was born in Tehran in 1991. Her poetry moves through silence, memory and the intimate spaces of the self, often speaking from a woman’s gaze within society. She lives in Cyprus, where she continues to write.
Each of her books ends with a poem that carries her name.
New poems appear here as they are shared on Instagram, alongside a few pages from the book.
Paperback on cream paper, and Kindle. Available worldwide on Amazon.
A new poem, a note from the island, and news of the next book — nothing more.
